Serving as HEEDA’s Economic Development Specialist and Grant Writer, Seema aims to integrate existing community practices and narratives into sustainable development and technology implementation designed to spur economic activity. Seema brings experience designing and implementing projects and programs in an international and domestic setting both in the private and public sector. Seema holds bachelor degrees in Political Science and Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley and a Master’s degree in City Planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where she completed her thesis on the Planning, Public Space, and the Subaltern Studies of Kabul, Afghanistan.
