FINDING & FIGHTING CANCER IN AFGHANISTAN
Join HEEDA for 'Finding & Fighting Cancer in Afghanistan', a fundraising event to support the first Afghanistan Cancer Center that will both diagnose and treat cancer within the country's borders.
The evening will consist of a tea reception provided by the Afghan Coalition, a presentation by the Afghanistan Cancer Foundation and HEEDA, and a panel discussion, followed by a traditional Afghan dinner and music. You are invited to come and be part of a conversation where we welcome delegates from Afghanistan to share the value and vision presented by the Afghanistan Cancer Foundation.
HEEDA is a registered 501(c).
For donations made, please refer to our EIN #47-1891380.
Our dedicated team comprised entirely of volunteers from a number of professions utilizes a diverse array of expertise and cultural sensitivities to help inspire, educate, and problem-solve together with the Afghan people, working to combat the many development challenges the country faces. We are unique among nonprofits in that we believe high impact, sustainable technologies and innovative programs can be a means for true development for Afghanistan. Just as the country leap-frogged from no telecommunications grid to a fully robust communications infrastructure through mobile, so too do we believe that accessible, impacting technologies can do the same for health, education and economic programs.
