Dr. Edris Afzali, Board Certified Emergency Physician provides expert analysis in risk assessment and health infrastructure. He has a broad interest in global healthcare system development and has spent time on the ground evaluating emergency and primary care services in Afghanistan. He has presented research at both national and international forums including the Scientific Assembly of the American College of Emergency Physicians and Consortium of Universities for Global Health. He has worked to expand healthcare programs in rural areas of Japan and Costa Rica. Dr Afzali has a background in molecular and evolutionary biology and completed his medical training at the Michigan State College of Human Medicine.
